What is the difference between a Platter and a Basket? For one thing, a
platter generally does not have a handle. A large handle adds to the
presentation of a basket, but it also gets in the way when you are
aiming for your favorite morsel. When we prepare a gift selection of
chocolate, the main question is loose chocolates (good for parties,
dinners or a large group in an office setting), or packages of
chocolates or other goodies (for an individual gift recipient). For
those times when there are practical considerations, we have developed
our Gift Towers. A gift tower is a series of individually wrapped gift
boxes or packages. They are stacked, cellophaned and ribboned. The
result- a presentable gift without the expensive packaging.
