These are not like the original old style. They are small thick squares, but most differently, the jelly is TART, which makes for a very interesting cookie. We love them.

Raspberry Jelly Grahams are ex actly what you (probably think), a thick layer of our homemade Raspberry Jelly {link} on top of honey graham crackers. Covered in milk or dark chocolate, each tray is drizzled with Milk, Dark and White Chocolate. (Our Raspberry Jelly is made to be tart, not sweet, although too tart for some, it remains a favorite at JoMart and beyond).
The story: People who grew up in the 50's and 60's did not have a lot of chocolate choices, mainly buying their fill from their local supermarket or deli. That being said, one of the standards in New York, especially Brooklyn, was the jelly graham. Though sometimes tasteless, it was part of many of our childhoods. It was hard to tell the wonderful ones from the tasteless ones. My grandfather always made sure his were the wonderful ones, and we confidently can say it still remains wonderful!.
